Tyler Alvarez is a Cuban/Puerto Rican child actor best known for his role in the Nickelodeon series Every Witch Way. Alvarez stars as Diego, a teenager coming to grips with his power over the elements while trying to fit in with the other kids.
Biography[]
Alvarez was born in the Bronx and lives on Long Island. Raised in a large blended family, Alvarez is the only one of his siblings to enter the entertainment field. He took his first acting class at 10, and was soon auditioning for commercials. He went on to attend Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School (the Fame school). His national film debut was in Brothers in Arms in 2012, followed by The House That Jack Built in 2013. Every Witch Way represents Alvarez' television series debut as well as his first major role.
Alvarez has worked with the Smile organization,Template:Clarify me an international medical charity dedicated to healing children’s smile.
